Strength and Movement Class is our newest addition. It is an outdoor or online group training session of an hour. Classes are a mix of strength exercises and cardio activities for all fitness levels.
The outdoor classes take place in Amsterdam, in Vondelpark.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to be able to run?

No, it is not a running class. There will be a bit of running but short bursts. If you really don’t want to run let me know and I can give you an alternative.

Do I have to be fit?

No, this class is for all abilities.

Do I need to bring anything?

It would be useful to bring a yoga mat. Be prepared to share it. Also, bring some water.

And what about valuables?

Please leave all valuables at home.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable sports clothes and supportive shoes. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, if it looks like rain wear something to keep you dry and gloves are useful on colder days and also for exercises where you have your hands on the ground. On colder days have a warm layer to put on before and after the session.

What if the weather is bad?

It is an outdoors class so we continue anyway. Only in severe weather will the class be cancelled.

We are temporarily at Staringplein, Amsterdam.

What do I need for the online class?

Some resistance bands and if you want some comfort have a mat. If you have some dumbbells or kettlebells then we can also use them, but it is not compulsory.

Forget your misconceptions about boot camp and give this a try – Lorna has a calm, sensible and reassuring attitude to exercise ensuring that you never feel intimidated in a macho environment. Over the weeks my programme has been adapted as my fitness improves to ensure that I ache just a little bit after each class! And that feels really good!


If you are looking for an alternative to your usual gym session, then I would definitely recommend Lorna’s bootcamp! If like me you have spent the whole week planning your work it’s so nice to just turn up and take part in a well thought out and planned outdoor training session. I find it very motivating and also fun training with other people and as there is a good mix of ability and ages I can feel comfortable training at my own pace but also find that I push myself when my competitiveness streak kicks in.
