Happy Valentine’s Day! 💗
I’m a great believer in doing sporting activities that you enjoy. So we decided to make this month’s blog about challenging you to make a Valentine’s date with your sport.
But first, I would like to describe to you my favourite workout.

It probably wouldn’t be described as fun by many of you, but my favourite workout is early on a Sunday morning, getting my running kit on and going out for a long run.
The introvert in me loves to leave the house early in the morning and run along an almost empty path. It makes me feel special to have this experience all to myself.
The run itself is at my slow pace and I like to start in the town and get myself out into the countryside (which I can do quite quickly from our house in Amsterdam). While it is nice to be quiet, I do like to greet any fellow runners who are out too, like we are in a club together, running early in the day (although not everyone returns the greeting).
At the moment, this is all the more special as I am returning from an injury and am just running 30 minutes, and believe me, that is not long enough for me to be a long run 😂
We’ve had a challenge running on social media this month: to come up with your own sports Valentine’s Date. You can see the post here.
The most fun entry will be getting a surprise gift.

After going through the inspiring entries, I am happy to announce that the winner is Noelle and her Valentine’s sporting date is:
‘Argentine Tango is a sport, right? Though I’d also kind of like a date doing archery. Me+husband+cupid of course!’
Congratulations Noelle, I will be getting in touch with you soon!
Thank you to everyone who participated, it was great to hear your favourite workouts and discover many of you like to match your sport with food!
