Strength and movement class

I am launching a new class, and you are the first ones to learn about it!

My new Strength and Movement class is focused on strength and movement (as the title implies 😀 ) for mainly women over 35. We will focus on strength exercises using minimal equipment. There will be two types of classes: one will be a live class in the Vondelpark, and the other one will be online.

Strength training for women over 35 is important as, during your 30s, you already start to lose muscle mass. When we have less muscle, we are not as strong, which can limit us as we age. By working on keeping ourselves as strong as possible, we can move through our lives and remain independent as long as possible, and who doesn’t want that?

Strength training also helps to build bone, and if we lose bone density, we can be more susceptible to bone breaks and fractures. You can read more in this article.

Class schedule

These strength and movement classes will last an hour. You can choose what type of class you want or you can mix and match depending on your availability.
Outdoor classes are taking place in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, and the other one is online on zoom, which is super handy now that rain is slowly making its way to The Netherlands.

All you need to bring/have ready is a mat, some resistance bands and dumbbells if you have them (not compulsory) and lots of water!
